Mushroom and Pear Crostini

Ingredients

1 baguette, sliced
4 cups mushrooms, chopped
2 tablespoons SOOC Mushroom Sage olive oil
1 tablespoon SOOC Cranberry Pear balsamic vinegar
1 pear, thinly sliced
2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
Salt and pepper

Directions

Heat a medium frying pan on medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add mushrooms and sauté until cooked through. Top with balsamic and stir together. Set aside.

Grab a parchment lined sheet pan and place slices of bread on it. Top with olive oil and heat in oven at 400 degrees until bread is toasted.

Top toasted bread with mushrooms and cheese and place back into oven until the cheese is melted. Top with pear pieces and serve immediately.
