Ingredients

2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon shichimi togarashi (Japanese red pepper seasoning, available in specialty grocery stores or on Amazon.)
1 pound ground beef, chicken, or turkey
¼ cup SOOC Teriyaki Balsamic Vinegar
4 slices Swiss, provolone or cheddar cheese
4 Hamburger buns

Sliced red onion, tomato, lettuce, pickles, for serving, optional

Directions

1. In a small bowl, whisk mayonnaise with shichimi togarashi until smooth.

2. Preheat grill or medium pan to high. Form beef into 4 equal patties and brush patties with balsamic vinegar. Grill to desired doneness, about 4 minutes per side for medium, adding cheese during the last minute of cooking.

3. Split buns, then toast on grill or in toaster. Grill/cook pineapple slices until charred.

4. Assemble burgers by spreading aioli on bottom buns, then top with burgers, lettuce, pineapple, more aioli, etc. Serve right away.
