Nothing screams summer like a backyard seafood boil!
It’s casual, festive, and perfect for bringing everyone together around a big, beautiful spread of fresh seafood, smoky sausage, sweet corn, and tender potatoes.
Today, I’m sharing one of my all-time favorite recipes — simple enough for a weeknight gathering but impressive enough for your biggest summer parties.
2 pounds snow crab legs or king crab legs
1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces
4 tablespoons SOOC Garlic olive oil
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
2 lemons
4-6 cups small red potatoes
4 ears corn, cut in halves
1-pound mussels, cleaned and debearded
1-pound large shrimp, deveined (shell on or off, your choice)
1. Turn oven onto 400 degrees. Grab a sheet pan and place crab legs and potatoes on and cover with olive oil. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes and set aside.
2. Fill a large pot with water and boil corn. Drain and set aside. Dump mussels into pot with one cup water and garlic and boil till cooked. Set aside.
3. In another medium pan add more olive oil and sauté kielbasa till cooked. Add shrimp and sauté for 5-8 minutes on each side.
4. Grab a sheet pan and all ingredients and put together all your seafood, corn, and potatoes. Drizzle with more olive oil and serve with lemon wedges.
