SOOC at the 30th VT City Marathon!
We were very proud to have a team of two representing Saratoga Olive Oil Co. at the 30th annual Vermont City Marathon on May 27!
The USATF certified course featured views of the Adirondack Monuntains, Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains…a stretch of the race even went through Burlington’s pedestrain Marketplace, right past our store!
Our marketing coordinator, Alyssa, visited Burlington for the marathon to support her fiancé, Aaron, in his first half marathon (while he and his teammate, Matt, showed support for Saratoga Olive Oil Co.)!
Aaron finished the first half, from the starting line, in 2:09:25 (2 hours 9 minutes 25 seconds). Matt finished the second half, from halfway trade-off point, in 2:29:21 (2 hours 29 minutes 21 seconds). Team total time was 4:38:46 (4 hours 38 minutes 46 seconds).
