Dear Barb,

I love your products, but I do not see a balsamic glaze on your website. I am wondering if Saratoga Olive Oil carries a thick balsamic that I can use over a pork tenderloin?

Hi Beata,

Thank you for loving our products and for your great question. Have you ever tried a balsamic reduction? A balsamic reduction will give you the same results as a glaze and just takes a few minutes of your time.

Just add the desired amount of balsamic, (Saratoga Olive Oil balsamic, of course!) in a small saucepan, approximately 1 cup for a pork tenderloin. Put on your stovetop and bring to a boil over low heat and then reduce heat to a simmer for 10-15 minutes. The amount that you end up with is about ½ of what you start with and it will thicken slightly as it cools.

As an added extra treat, try our Denissimo balsamic. This balsamic is naturally a bit thicker due to the longer aging process in a series of five different casks of mulberry, ash, oak, juniper, and cherry wood. The result is a dense and complex flavor that includes notes of dried fruits, hints of dark chocolate, and malt. A phenomenal choice for your pork tenderloin.

Happy Cooking!
