Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

Air fryer garlic Parmesan wings are a quick, easy, and healthier alternative to traditional fried wings without sacrificing flavor. If you're craving crispy, flavorful wings without the hassle of deep frying, these wings are the perfect solution.

The combination of crispy wings, garlic olive oil, and savory Parmesan is irresistible—perfect for game days, parties, or just a tasty snack. These wings deliver a delicious blend of garlic, cheese, and spices while staying relatively healthy.

Tips for Perfect Garlic Parmesan Wings:

  • For Extra Crispy Wings: Pat the wings as dry as possible before seasoning, and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket or baking sheet.
  • Add a Twist: If you like a bit of spice, add red pepper flakes to the garlic Parmesan sauce or sprinkle with cayenne pepper.
  • Reheating: To keep wings crispy when reheating, use the air fryer for a few minutes at 350°F until warmed through.

I like pairing these with ranch or blue cheese dressing. Depending on the season, leeks, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, and radishes make great options, as well as the more common celery and carrots.

Products used: Garlic Olive Oil

Ingredients

Ingredients for Chicken:
12 chicken wings
3 tablespoons SOOC Garlic Olive Oil
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ingredients for Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
1 cup SOOC Garlic Olive Oil
3 tablespoons garlic, minced
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. If your air fryer has a preheat setting, use it. Otherwise, let it run for a few minutes to heat up.

2. Remove the (thawed) chicken wings from the package and pat them dry with a paper towel.

3. In a mixing bowl, drizzle the wings with 3 tablespoons of garlic olive oil. Sprinkle with baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until well coated.

4. Coat the air fryer basket with olive oil or cooking spray. Add the wings to the basket in a single layer, making sure not to overlap them. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook the wings in batches.

5. Air fry the wings at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

6. While the wings are cooking, prepare the Garlic Parmesan Sauce. In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of garlic olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then remove from heat. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.

7. Once the wings are done, toss them in the garlic Parmesan sauce until well coated. Serve hot, garnish with extra Parmesan cheese, and enjoy right away!
