Strawberry Sorbet

Strawberry Sorbet

When the temperatures start rising there is nothing as refreshing as a nice sorbet. This strawberry sorbet is refreshing, easy, and everything you could wish for on a hot afternoon.

So, what is the difference between sorbet and gelato? Gelato traditionally uses milk and cream as its main ingredients, and that sorbet primarily contains fruit juice or fruit purée and does not use dairy products or eggs. Sorbet is one of the easiest frozen desserts to make, all you need is some fresh or frozen fruits and a sweetener. For this recipe, I like to use sugar, but you can also use honey or agave for a healthier version.

If strawberries aren’t your favorite, you can easily substitute them for any other fruits.
