Fresh Tomato & Basil Bruschetta

Fresh Tomato & Basil Bruschetta

Bruschetta is a favorite of my family! It is so simply and quick to put together, yet so delicious. The ripe tomatoes mixed with fresh basil and herbs creates such a wonderful flavor. The crostinis are amazing too! This makes such a wonderful spring or summertime appetizer, but it’s amazing all year.

Recipe By Anna Chighizola

Products used: Tuscan Herb Olive Oil, French Fleur De Sel Sea Salt

Ingredients

4 Roma Tomatoes
4 Tablespoons SOOC Tuscan Herb Olive Oil, divide into 2
½ teaspoon SOOC Fleur de Sel Sea Salt
½ teaspoon Black Pepper
6 leaves of Fresh Basil, chopped
1 Fresh Baguette

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350℉

Grab a cutting board and begin to cut the baguette into thin slices. Place on a baking sheet and drizzle with 2 Tbsp. of Tuscan Herb Olive Oil.

Place in the oven for 5 minutes. Then, flip the crostinis over and bake another 5 minutes.

Cut your tomatoes (small diced) while the crostinis are baking. Place the cut tomatoes into a bowl.

Add chopped basil into the same bowl with the tomatoes. Sprinkle the salt, pepper, and the remaining 2 Tbsp. of Tuscan Herb Olive Oil onto the tomatoes.

Once your crostinis have cooled, place a spoonful (about 1 Tbsp. per crostini) of the tomato mixture onto each crostini. Enjoy!
