Products used: Blood Orange Olive Oil

Ingredients

1 ½ cups All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Ground Cloves
½ cup SOOC Blood Orange Olive Oil
¾ cup Brown Sugar
¼ cup Sugar
1 Large Egg
1 Egg Yolk
1 ½ teaspoons Vanilla Extract
¾ cup Dark Chocolate Chips

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350℉.

Sift together in a mixing bowl the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and cloves. Set aside.

In another mixing bowl, pour the Blood Orange Olive Oil in. Measure the brown sugar and sugar and combine with the olive oil. Stir until moistened. It should look like wet sand.

Stir in the eggs, one at a time, to the sugar/olive oil mixture. Add your vanilla extract to the mixture.

Once your eggs and vanilla are incorporated, add in your dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. Fold in your dark chocolate chips.

Cover your dough with plastic wrap and put in the fridge for 20 minutes.

Once your twenty minutes is up, scoop your cookies onto a non-stick baking tray using a cookie dough scoop.

Place the cookies 2 inches apart on a baking sheet. Bake on the middle rack for 4 minutes, then rotate the pans and bake another 4 minutes.

Remove your cookies from the oven and enjoy!
