Spicy Cinnamon Pear Pork Chops
Submitted by Beverly Schott of Collinsville, CT Chefs Notes: “Slow clapping for this one… These pork chops were so delectable, and the pairing of the Chipotle and Cinnamon Pear is match made in heaven. Plate the pork chops and grilled pears with polenta and braised green for a five-star meal!”

Products used: Chipotle Olive Oil, Cinnamon Pear Balsamic Vinegar,

1 4-pack Boneless Pork Chops
½ cup SOOC Cinnamon Pear Balsamic Vinegar
¼ cup SOOC Chipotle Olive Oil
½ tsp Rosemary
Salt & Pepper, to taste
1 Pear, sliced thin
A mild, unflavored varietal olive oil

In a small bowl, mix all ingredients together except for the pork chops. Place in a sealable plastic bag, and marinate pork chops for 6 hours, or overnight.

Heat and spray grill with cooking spray or brush with plain olive oil.

Cook chops, basting frequently with marinade. Cook 3-5 minutes per side depending on thickness.

Grill pear slices in a perforated grill pan, sprayed with cooking spray or brushed with plain olive oil, until slightly soft and caramelized.

Serve the grilled pork chops topped with pear slices. Serve with a side of couscous or rice, and enjoy!
